Whats up their ass?

It seems that pokerstars is getting more strict as the days go by. After asking to get my chat back, they tell me that they cannot allow my picture anymore? Well, its nothing inapropriate or anything at all! Picture when someone folds a hand. The word "Fold" appears where their picture usually is. I customized mine so it said "Bluffing". It looked like the actual sign they usually have with the orangeish background, looked perfect. Has anyone else noticed that theyve been being nothing but a pain in the ass lately? I can understand most of their rules, but, ITS A PICTURE!

While Stars restrictions might be a hassle to some, I like the fact that such rules are in place. This is an online gambling casino - the rules should be a pain in the ass!

When you become of-age, you'll notice that the live casinos in your area are protected and regulated better than your local police station. If they don't like you at the casino, they throw you out!

Pokerstars is the best site there is. It sounds to me like you are the one being a pain in the ass, not them. They provide you with a great service, if you don't like that service than that is too bad for you, don't complain when they are doing a magnificent job.

And anyway what did you get your chat revoked for. They have rules, and you obviosly broke them and that has consequences, and why in the world should they bend the rules for you.

I think they have enough problems that they are always working on, they don't need someone like you who spends his time making a picture that looks like the ps one, that says "bluffing". I 16 and im more mature then that

whats wrong with someone having a pic that says bluffing on it? I have seen much worse on pokerstars, and the sign 'bluffing' isn't a big deal

holdemstewart 01-23-06 07:26 PM

Wow, its a picture, how is that immature? It was to get a good laugh, not once has someone told me; "Wow, thats very immature, grow up", or "That picture is really throwing my game off". Actually, Ive had a lot of people tell em, Nice pic bro. So whats the big deal.
Im not sayin that I dont understand about the chat deal. But can everyone here say that they've never had their chat banned?

People, including myself, aren't considering you immature for putting up the picture you put up, or for getting your chat blocked. It is because your reaction is immature and stupid. You are complaining like a little baby about what is happening and our lashing out and blaming pokerstars.

I personally think the "Bluffing" avatar is clever... but if Poker Stars says it's not allowed, then it's not allowed. It's their house, so if you want to go in it, you have to play by their rules.

Gotcha, thats why I post it here and dont send them an email. I disagree with some of their rules. But I do obey them.

holdemstewart 01-25-06 07:40 PM

Okay, well, theres an update,
Today I got an email from them saying that they have disabled my pictures and i can no longer have a picture.

Okay, My picture was JUST the word "Bluffing", why should they take my pic privlages away for that? They asked me to change it, and I didnt complain to them and was more than willing to make it good with them to change my picture. So I changed my picture to a pictuer of pocket A's. So why should I no longer be able to have a picture because they APPOVED somethin they thought was innapropriate? This isnt makin much sense to me because the fact that they approved the last one.
