2 out of 3!

Playing the .50/1.00 again. These two have been chasing all night and river'd me right off the table in 2 out of 3 hands.

MUCKorBUST must've bought back on the table 4x in the past hour.

Take a look and laugh.

I prolly should've PFR the above but I doubt it would've driven that guy out.

wdson01 11-19-05 11:53 PM

ugh i feel for you mna....i hate what these guys call with sometimes it makes me want to puke or at least throw something against the wall

eddo31 11-20-05 12:31 AM

im not sure what the problem with the first hand is. there was no point in the hand that you were ahead.

it is a marginal call preflop, but not really bad at all.

on the flop he is getting the odds and it is an easy call with the nut flush draw in this situation.

on the turn he hits his draw, and slow plays it.

on the river he overbets the pot, and you make an awful call with a weak hand. what do you beat here?

i think that you overplayed your hand very badly, and it was a very easy fold on the river.

JDMcNugent7 11-20-05 03:49 AM

1st hand wasn't even a bad beat, 2nd hand u should have been raising for sure, u let him catch that , u gotta give him the oppertunity to fold if u wanna call it a bad beat. Both cases i think u played the hands pretty wrong but we are here to help u improve so dont get mad and offended for us telling u that like all the other newcomers do.

Zybomb 11-20-05 03:56 AM

Someones happy because HE isn't the newcomer anymore :D

Anyway first hand - you were never ahead

Second hand -- tough beat... but you play JJ too passively preflop. Just limping in, then after a raise with multiple callers just calling.... just asking for trouble

studiopet 11-20-05 10:25 AM

Reasoning

That first handed I posted with the King's on the turn. That acutally followed the PP J's loss. I was a big annoyed  from that loss and should've folded and should've put him on the rivr'd A. These 2 were calling calling calling (every1 folding) and showing rags. I figured that was more than likely the case here. Not.

The JJ hand: I had been PFR most of the night with PP/AK etc and being called by rags only to have my PP/AK out drawn on. I was playing tight with them waiting to see how they would hold. I think I was on the edge of that thing they call tilt.

I eventually broke even for the night on a set of K's and then threw the white flag up.

Tight <> Passive. Those are two very different things.

studiopet 11-20-05 11:31 PM

Yeah

I never really thought of it as passive until you mentioned it.

I can see that.

johnp158 11-21-05 12:37 PM

Make sure you're playing within your bankroll.

And KJs isn't a raising hand in that situation. You can't be comfortable hitting a King after you've raised PF and gotten callers.
