Mirabelle - Cashout Update.

For all those who took part with the $10 Mirabelle giveaway, how are you still doing with your money?

I had over $60 - but I couldn't withdrawal because I needed the required # of raked hands (50) to clear. The raked hands are more difficult to attain because there is a $.20 rake requirement needed. [Not a bad deal at all, but when you're playing $.10/$.25!!].

So I entered a game, took some beats, and met my requirement with $45 in front of me. I decided to cash out via Neteller. (1) I wanted to see if I would actually get the money, and (2) I wanted to see how long it would take...

Coupla wierd things:

- When I clicked "Neteller" and and put the transaction through, it didn't ask for any Neteller information... (like account #). Instead, I just basically - clicked Neteller... "45"...and sumbit.

- I didn't receive an email from Mirebelle regarding the transaction. This kinda left me hangin for a few days.

3 days later, I received confirmation from Neteller that my account was credited with $45 dollars. Never got an email from Mirabelle.

Anyone else cashout?

Have not cashed out at Mirabelle, but I have noticed that this seems to be the new standard for Neteller WITHDRAWLS. They essentially are assuming that the email they have on file for you is the same as the one you use at Neteller. If it isn't you probably have to change it or get support involved. I have seen three different sites that only ask for you full name (as Neteller has it) and/ or email address, or as you say they could assume both and never let you know that is what they are doing (leaving you sweating it out for a couple of days, or contacting them).

Not sure if this is a Neteller thing or that it is just easier for the sites.

Note: The same sites seem to still require Acct# and secure ID# for deposits though, leading me to think it is a Neteller thing, but that is just a guess.

Haven't cashed out yet

As of right now, my account stands at $23 and change, not accounting affiliate revenue. I've mostly been playing the $5 1-on-1s, so I'm not sure if I have enough raked hands to qualify yet. If not, I'll try the micro-limit NL, which despite my dislike of NL cash games, seem plenty beatable. I plan to cash out a portion of my winnings after the 1st of the month when my affiliate payment gets made. I'll keep half of whatever I have to play with, because the site's not a bad second choice when waiting for Party reloads or for a change of pace.

For anybody who hasn’t signed up yet … Lou quadrupled his starting bank roll, I more than doubled mine. With a 25% deposit bonus and 10% rake back, it is well worth bonus whoring at the least.

You're really coming strong with the affiliate link for Mirabelle. Do they treat their affiliates well?

Potential

So far, the return has been fair. My affiliate account has something like $24, and grows at less than $5 a week (though if people are cashed out, likely less soon.) But thanks to you guys, what I do have is a large number of sign-ups – 22 and counting. So if the site takes off, which granted seems like a long shot, that could potentially start to generate some returns down the road. Not that Mirabella would ever reach Party-like status, but I can only imagine what 22 sign ups to Party are worth. I alone have probably made my Party affiliate a small fortune.

This is my first experience as an affiliate – apologies if I’m hammering on it too hard. Lou, I notice you don’t have any standing affiliate links on your blog. Too much of a hassle?

Anybody else have success stories or cautionary tales on being an affiliate?

3. I'm broke and need the money.

I'm up to ~$30, and I have been playing .5/.10 limit mostly, I think it is real hard to get any raked hand requirements that way. I'm going ot have to play some NL/PL etc. Not bad during peak times, but sometimes there is literally noone on the site.

Choose your response....

Response #1:
I am broke. I'm a law student who graduates in May. After that, I take the bar exam, and I'll be a lawyer. I do, though, have a running bankroll and the money from Mirabelle was just extra.

Response #2:
Get off my dick, fuckass.
