I want to play a TPF league again this year. $10 buy in would be cool, anyone interested?

Maybe we should do two leagues?

One regular w/ live draft etc.
One salary cap league. I played this last year for the first time, and it was pretty cool, even tho I sucked.

$10 entry for a side bet? Should be everybody in it if we are putting money in, IMO, but if the majority doesn't care people can enter and not go for the money. Let's see how many we have and we can do either top 1 or two for payouts....

Agreed. I personally thin kthe salary cap one is better, given our forum's level of interest, but I just don't have the time to set it up right now. If someone else does, count me in for whatever amount of money you all decide on.

Opinions on which one to play (or both) and which one to put money on (or both)?

I think I would prefer salary cap (as most others have stated) so I am fine with canceling the other one or playing it for fun in addition to the salary cap for a prize pool?

I will play both as well. I started this thread and feel obligated to contribute but I have no idea what standard settings are for these things. I'm still a noobsauce when it comes to fantasy sports.

TalkingPoker is the group name, but I don't think you should need that.

I follow the link and it tells me I'm not a member of the group.

I try to login with the group # and PW at the main fantasy football page and it says the login is incorrect.

I go to salary cap home and I can't find where to search for the league.

I think you might have to create a team first and then join that team into the league group. I created a team first (accident) and then it gave me the option to join or create a group.

So there's no draft in this, and players can be duplicated on multiple teams? I've never played in a cap league before.

Yeah, it is totally different. Each week you choose your team and you can drop players and buy new ones up to the $100 cap. Each players price changes weekly. Make sure you have a player in all spots to get credit for the week.

BTW, draft for the other (heads up) league is tomorrow night so anyone that is playing get your team set up!!!

Yeah, $10-$20 has been mentioned. I am fine with either for salary cap.

For heads up match one I would do $10-20 only if all 4 are doing it. Having one person not pay/care can mess that up at the end especially.

I just created my team. I'm in for $20 but won't be able to ship until Friday the 5th. Thanks for setting it up TP.

So far, its only me and jillaj in the cap league for $$ (and Gordog, later this week). Is it even worth it, or should I just ship jillaj's $20 back?

I'm willing to play for $60 best record out of us three takes all. I'm also for extending this one week to see if anyone else buys in.
