ChipFish 02-18-05 06:47 PM

Good.
I kind of want to smack the pro around a bit.

tazmision89 02-18-05 06:50 PM

Come get some pony boy!

ChipFish 02-18-05 07:03 PM

Oh you didn't know?????
You're Ass better calllllllllllllllll sooooommeebooddddyyyyy!

jdiana86 02-19-05 05:32 PM

if u really want to stir things up the bounty should go to the first person knocked out.

ChipFish 02-19-05 06:13 PM

Always looking for an advantage, aren't you? :p :D ;)

Tony Cheval 02-19-05 09:42 PM

Hmm, I'm currently busted at PS, but I'm interested if I can get in.

Talking Poker 02-19-05 11:02 PM

Sounds like someone needs to make a deposit :D

As for the bounty going to whoever gets knocked out first.... I'm certainly not going to spend my money on something like that, but if anyone else wants to put one up, feel free. Anyone may post bounties for this tourney. Just pay up afterwards...

Right now, the list of bounties is as follows:
Knock me out - Get the Harrington book
Knock ChipFish out - Get your 11 bucks back

Tony Cheval 02-20-05 01:30 AM

Well, I'm working on doing the bonuswhore thing somewhat, so I'm mostly in Absolute at the moment. Though what I've read about the Cryptos seems a bit conflicting, I'm certainly not gonna dump a bunch of money into a site with relatively tough games, unless the bonus is insane. :D

tazmision89 02-20-05 09:47 AM

I will take both of you on.

But shouldn't it be the other way around. Recieve the Harrington book if you knock out ChipFish. I mean come on.........ChipFish is a much easier target then you are :p

Talking Poker 02-20-05 10:07 AM

No one is saying you need to play there exclusively or even regularly. Just saying you need to put in a little bit of cash to play in our tourney. It's by far the best place for us to do this sort of thing. Deposit $50, play in the tourney, and then cach out immediately afterwards if you want - $39 if you lose, or much more if you win. Seems easy enough to me.

And Stars doesn't offer first time sign up bonuses, so no need to worry about wasting one of those on a minimum deposit. when they offer a bonus, it's for everyone.

ChipFish 02-20-05 10:46 AM

I like this guy already...
If you need to target me, I'll be chipleader or thereabouts... Should be easy enough for you to find.

tazmision89 02-20-05 03:30 PM

Let's make it tough.............starting chip count is 1,000 and not the usual 2,000. Start the blinds at 25/50 and ante up starting at level 3.

Then we will see who the big fish is and not just a little guppy ;)

ChipFish 02-20-05 03:59 PM

Ahhh I see now.
You like crapshoots, and don't particularly enjoy playing poker....
I'm out of Absolute Poker right now, (Won a $20 multi, and placed 5th in a $20 multi here out of 3 trys....)
but will be back on Party when they offer the reload.
How's about we up the starting stacks to 10,000 and play 2 hour levels
starting at 25/50?
Don't you find the better players do a little better when there is room to maneuver (sp)?

Where are you from Taz?
Toronto Canada here.

Aequitas58 02-20-05 04:22 PM

I believe the minimum amount to withdrawal is $50.

omahilo 02-20-05 07:09 PM

if thats the case deposit $61 on pokerstars then withdraw 50.

ChipFish 02-20-05 07:11 PM

And we have a rocket scientist gentlemen!
I knew my man Omahilo could figure it out for you all.

tazmision89 02-20-05 08:07 PM

10,000 stacks!?!?!?! I want a challange, not a cake walk. :)

I'm not afraid to play against anyone. I like to gamble and love the challange. 1,000 chip stacks with starting blinds at 25/50 does just that. Make you play on the top of your game ;)

BTW, I am from Long Island, NY :)

ChipFish 02-20-05 08:20 PM

We'll have to meet in Niagara at some point then.

Aequitas58 02-20-05 08:28 PM

You and Chip keep going back and forth ... this silly banter is getting old. Smells like a heads up match might be in order.

omahilo 02-20-05 08:51 PM

lol chip!

anyways... online tourneys are already crapshoots as it is and 1K stacks will just make it more of a crapshoot. Thats fine you like to 'gamble' but also its taking the skill out of the game when you have to play allin poker with any hand you get dealt lol.

ChipFish 02-20-05 09:47 PM

Absolutely...
The more chips to start and the more time to play with them...
Equals more time for ChipFish to gobble your chips...
The more I shop around the more I like UB and Absolute for their Tourney blind structures..... The Stars 350k is good too. Also The PPM on party was excellent if you had the full 3k to start...(which you should if you were going to play)

On the other side of the coin though, I have been stockpiling T$ at Stars with the $10+1 rebuy turbos....
Does anyone think there may be a run for the WSOP in Chip's Future??? ;)

Tony Cheval 02-21-05 01:00 AM

I've done all right in the couple Absolute tourneys I've managed to get in. Unfortunately, for some wierd reason my older box (this one) won't load tournament tables, though the ring games work fine. Finally had to download the software to my gaming rig, works fine there.
